1970-1990

TRUCKS AND CARS HD OPTION

The large ford  is externally regulated, available in 150, 200 and 250 amp ratings, with idle rating starting at 75 amps. This is designed for competition use and is offered in plain, polished, and coated only. Alternator comes with regulator, optional regulator will replace stock reg. optional parts are: HD = heavy duty, low noise regulator. ADJ = adjustable regulator that is adjustable from the dash - on the fly, you can adjust the voltage from 12 to 18 volts, just by turning a knob. EXHD = remote rectifier, bullet proof, this will handle up to 1000 AMPS!!!! When ordering pick alternator and if desired which options needed. Will replace all Ford units with external regulators

1990-2000

  T he 3G works well in all vehicles, available in 130 amp, 160 amp, 200amp, and 250 amp ratings. Idle amps start @ 80 amps. plain, polished, or coated only. One wire not available in 200 & 250 amp. External regulated (-200-EXR) includes regulator and wiring. The 3G will replace all Ford alternators up to 2000. It is also an excellent choice for universal applications.
